Good morning, Hope Family, I want to thank God for what He is doing in our lives and Hope Church in general. 
I am thankful that we are all part of it. 

Disasters and natural calamities as painful as they are, unfortunately, they do happen. It could be a break out of the health epidemic, fire disasters, flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes and so on.  When these incidents occur, lives are lost, homes are destroyed and folks become homeless and displaced, family units are disintegrated, jobs and business are lost.  

Natural disasters live in its wake untold hardships.  It is in the light of the foregoing that I want to urge us as a people to turn to God in prayer as we lift the people of Florida and other states in the United States up to God for comfort, support, strength, and Hope in Christ Jesus.  We can find encouragement in the Bible passages below: 

Psalm 46:5 God dwells in that city; it cannot be destroyed. From the very break of day, God will protect it.

Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.

1. Thank God for His presence even in the midst of these disasters.
2. Psalm 46:5 affirms that our God dwells in Florida and other states where these disasters have occurred and God has promised to protect them.  Let us thank God for His faithfulness in keeping to His promises.
3. Ask God to strengthen His people even as they go through these challenges.
4. Pray that God will send support and relief to His people.  
5. Pray that God will give wisdom to our leaders as they take decisions on how to support and implement policies to better the lives of the people of Florida and other affected states.
6. Please pray for yourself and your families.
